Are we at the point where losing weight is about feeling lighter and more energetic, rather then looking in a certain way?
Since moving to Dubai, and then throughout my pregnancy I was up and down with my weight.
I was doing many things wrong. ● I ate too much bread!
Yes I do love it but it doesn't have to be all the time for every meal. ● I thought that if I eat 200 gram I can't gain a kilo!
That might have been so 10 years ago, not anymore 😄 ● I didn't know anything about calories ● I only did exercise I find easy! ● I did cardio and ignored strength
The past 3 months I took example in my husband.
What I did do is:
● I ate only when I'm hungry! Not just because it's there or it's "time to eat" !
● I ditched the idea of having 3 full meals and embraced hunger as a healthy part of the day. ● If you (like I just did) have cake and cream because you were too tired to make dinner, don't despair and just go back to the good habits right away, and don't stress!
● exercise, the harder it is the more you need it!
Surely I'm not the best I have ever been, but I'm better then I was for a long time. I haven't taken pain killers for ages, I go up and down stairs without being tired. I can play and run with Liyana! I get up at 5am and feel fit and fresh!
What is your biggest challenge?
