Like so much about being a plus-size mum, one of the biggest challenges has been trying to find nursing bras and nursing singlets that fit. There’s only a handful of specialist bra brands that do my size, and even fewer of them do maternity bras, and basically none of them do maternity singlets. I’ve been either squeezing myself into the Bonds maternity singlet (only goes up to an f-cup, is a struggle to get on, and gives me major quad-boob) or a cheapie number whose “support” consists of nothing more than a cupless shelf bra. Luckily for me the team at @sugarcandybra got in contact to see if I wanted to try their range of bralets and singlets designed for F-H cups. They’re comfortable, cute, and remarkably supportive, thanks to the clever wireless construction and inner boob sling they’ve got going on behind that smooth stretchy cup. Scroll through for a closer look at the engineering that’s gone into keeping these G-cups aloft!
@sugarcandybra also does non-maternity, of course, and once my breastfeeding journey finishes I’ll definitely be back to get a couple of the non-nursing options - comfy bras and supportive singlets that you can sleep in, but ALSO answer the door in? Yes please!
